The Licentiate in Homeopathy (Modules 21-30 )
Level 3 of Professional Training in Homeopathy.
College of practical homeopathy graduates receive a Licentiate in Homeopathy, the standard qualification for practice in the UK which qualifies them for membership of a professional body and to start their own practice.
Graduates will have demonstrated that they are able to be independent professional health care practitioners.
Have a thorough grounding in all key areas of homeopathic medicine, including the medical sciences and therapeutics, and allied subjects such as alternative diagnostics.
Have a thorough understanding of the human body and its functioning in health and in illness.
Be familiar with Homeopathic remedies, their uniqueness, manufacture and application in practice.
Appreciate the place of Homeopathic medicine within medicine as a whole – both complementary and conventional, and the contribution it can make as a specialist health care discipline.
Be able to assess a client and accurately evaluate their state of health.
Be able to recognise medical emergencies, and pathologies beyond their competence (or legal status) to treat, reviewing the range of referral options available and acting appropriately.
Be able to develop an appropriate management and treatment plan including a Homeopathic prescription.
Be aware of what professional Homeopathic practice entails, and of the importance maintaining a professional approach at all times.
Understand the basic professional, legal and business requirements involved in practice.
Feel competent to assess and treat a diverse range of patients without supervision.
Be able to reflect on their practice utilising critically the dynamic and complex body of knowledge, challenging their skills and continually seeking to develop their expertise as a practitioner.
Be able to appreciate uncertainty in health care situations, to work within their limits of competence and to refer to other practitioners and seek guidance as required.
Be able to communicate with patients and other health practitioners clearly, with sensitivity, relevance, confidence and professionalism.
Be competent to practise independently as Members of an appropriate Register.
Completion of the CPH Diploma Level.
Cph Online Course Materials:
This course uses carefully tried and tested teaching material from courses we have been running for over 30 years, with regularly updated approaches to give you a thorough, enjoyable and creative online study programme. Cph have comprehensive written material database, plus an extensive audio library, so that all students receive module notes downloads and any media related material via electronic means.
All Cph course material is presented in a user-friendly, accessible format and is downloaded to your own pc or laptop. You will be guided through each module by your tutor and can check your progress and reinforce your learning, through self-assessment questions.
At the end of each study unit, you send or upload your written assignments electronically to your tutor for feedback and assessment. We expect students to commit to completing a minimum of 10 modules a year.
Assessment is always on-going and we do not require essays or the sitting of exams. (This is NOT a correspondence course). You will have assignments to upload and hand in for each Module.
You will have your own personal online tutor (contactable by Skype and email) for guidance and support throughout your training, giving feedback on your work and assignments. Tutors are fully qualified practitioners, chosen for their expertise and skills in helping you learn.
Commencement of Course:
You can enrol at any time in the year.
On completion, graduates receive a Licentiate in Homeopathy (which is the qualification accepted by professional bodies in the UK for membership).
Per level (10 modules): £2950 if paid in full, or £3200 if paid by instalments. (This is the highest quality, most time & cost effective available training for homeopathy in the world).
